Garden Club News

 The Greens Sale Production has Begun....

The Garden Club has been busy cutting, prepping, soaking, grouping, cleaning and trimming loads of boxwood, magnolia, fir, pine, cedar, chamaecyparis, holly, spruce, cryptomeria, arborvitae and other greenery as we begin to make the most beautiful holiday wreaths, kissing balls, arrangements, trees and swags. And what fun to do it all together! The frenzy of constructing these works of art begins December 3rd.

February Program




SSM Garden Club members invite you to join them February 13 to make tussie mussies, nosegays with a message. These talking bouquets were exchanged instead of written greetings during the Victorian era. Learn about the language of flowers during this time and enjoy creating your own tussie mussie.More information to come. Check back at sandyspringmuseum.org
