The 30th Anniversary Tea

On October 8th the Garden Club celebrated with a wonderful tea and fellowship time. The group of about 25 members was welcomed by co-President Kathy Ramienski, followed by a talk on Mary Rice, the founder of our club. The history of the Garden Club was presented by Penny Sidell, club contributions to the Museum by co-President Marge Combs and Penny also shared a fun Garden Club Quiz. Lastly Betty Hines gave closing remarks.

Tea was accompanied by a tasty and beautiful selection of tea sandwiches and small deserts. We reminisced with friends as we enjoyed the posters of photos of  various activities through the years. It was a very special day for the club.

Spooky Workshop

At the Spooky Workshop we created beautiful bows, not ghostly creatures. Members of the club and the community learned to make fancy, velvet and tiny bows for our Greens Sale in December. Another group glued the floral foam onto trays for the hurricane arrangements.
