In June the Garden Club had a successful plant booth at the Strawberry Festival at the Sandy Spring Museum. Thank you to our growers, workers during the event and our customers.
The Christmas in July workshop was well attended with members and friends. We prepared the bases and bows for the Holiday Greens Workshops and Sale in December.

Planting and Caring for Succulents
Join horticulturist, Carol Allen, in a hands-on workshop where she will introduce the many kinds of succulents and their care. Learn how to plant and propagate these wonderfully diverse plants. You will go home with a completed project as well as ideas on how to use succulents in fall arrangements.
Carol has over 25 years experience in the horticulture industry. She worked as a supervisor horticulturist at the US Botanical Gardens Conservancy and has two degrees, one in horticulture and one in plant science. You’ll find her column on pest issues in the Washington Gardener Magazine.
